Created in 2021 by the Provincial Council of Almeria. It is held every year in the first week of December in the city of Almeria. It stands out for its support to short films with a solid international official section and the Almería Award, Tierra de cine to international stars who have shot part of their filmography in Almería.

Great Ways was responsible for the comprehensive management of six editions (2005-2010) and the management of tributes to stars such as Geraldine Chaplin, Faye Dunaway, Claudia Cardinale, Eli Wallach, Richard Lester, Raquel Welch and Ursula Andrews.
